VR In Education

This weeks post I will be going over a example of virtual reality in education, "Titans Of Space PLUS" (https://www.oculus.com/experiences/quest/2359857214088490/). This experience gives the learners a virtual tour of the solar system and beyond. This program experience provides factual information with the tour.

This experience is a incredible tool for learners of all ages, giving a interactive tool to help learn about science and space exploration. This allows anyone to get a quality experience even if they don't have access to an telescope, space museum or observatories to access this type of experience traditionally.

This engaging space trip, provides a comprehensive and invaluable way to teach these concepts. Allowing students to visually comprehend how these space bodies interact with each other. Teachers can use this programs to connect with students who may not learn well through traditional methods, or have physical difficulties that prevent them from going to educational experiences. This media and others like it, is a incredible boon for students and educators.

  1. Hi Sidney! While looking through all sorts of VR tools for the classroom, I also came across something very similar to this. It was a virtual space experience, where you could roam about space and explore. I love this idea and I think this would have been a great tool when I was in school. Do you think you'll incorporate it in your classroom?
